L. E. Hinkley
Lois E. Hinkley grew up in rural Maine where her love for wildlife and nature began early, as did her love of painting and drawing.
She taught Special Education for over twenty years. Retired and now on her second and third careers, she is an adjunct professor in the Psychology Department for Purdue Global University. She holds two Master’s degrees, one in Special Education and one in Educational Psychology.
She currently resides in Florida with her Siamese cat Lyla and divides her time between visiting her daughter Shannon and family in Florida and her son Jim and family in Wisconsin.
Lois is writing and illustrating a book series for children, starring some of Florida’s most interesting residents. She has recently released her first book, Angus: A is for Anoles.
