Lou Stevens
Lou Stevens, who writes as L. Stevens, grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. In the fourth-grade, he collaborated with a friend on a note-book-paper, handwritten series of mystery tales based on Sherlock Holmes. Lou jokes, “We didn’t invent modern-day fan fiction, but we got there before the Star Trek folks.”
At the University of Florida, he was a regular contributor to the Orange Peel, the college humor magazine. Now retired from a family-owned distribution firm, he lives in Jacksonville, Florida with wife Judy.
As “L. Stevens,” Lou enjoys writing short stories, and has published his first novel.
Lou’s newly released historical crime novel, Peck’s Plantation: The Lost Madonna, tells of a Spanish galleon laden with gold and precious cargo, a treasure stolen and lost in a raging tropical storm. Now, over three hundred years later, Liam Burns, a calculating con man, has discovered the key to finding the treasure and will go to any lengths to take it for himself, no matter who is hurt along the way.
